Full Depth Reconstruction

This is the most comprehensive commercial paving solution. The existing asphalt and failed stone base are completely removed and replaced with a properly compacted aggregate base. New BCBC (Bituminous Concrete Base Course), also known as the asphalt binder course, is then installed, followed by a premium wearing course of hot mix asphalt. Full depth reconstruction is recommended for parking lots and roadways with widespread structural failure, poor drainage, base failure, or severe deterioration.

Full Asphalt Replacement

When the existing stone base remains structurally sound, the deteriorated asphalt pavement is removed while the base is repaired as needed. A new binder course (BCBC) is installed to provide structural strength, followed by a new wearing course that delivers a smooth, durable driving surface. This option provides the benefits of a completely new parking lot without rebuilding the entire foundation.

Asphalt Milling & Overlay

The existing pavement surface is milled to remove deteriorated asphalt while maintaining proper elevations around curbs, sidewalks, catch basins, and entrances. A new wearing course of hot mix asphalt is then installed over the prepared surface. Milling and overlay is an excellent choice when the underlying pavement remains structurally sound but the surface has become worn from years of traffic and weather.

Asphalt Overlay

An asphalt overlay places a new wearing course directly over the existing pavement after any necessary crack repairs or leveling. This improves ride quality, appearance, and pavement life while offering a cost effective alternative to complete replacement. Overlays are best suited for parking lots with minimal structural damage.

Asphalt Repairs & Patching

Localized failures such as potholes, utility cuts, alligator cracking, depressions, and damaged pavement sections are saw cut, removed, and replaced with new asphalt.
